If you are having problems with NetScope the support team may ask you to send a NetScope diagnostic file. To do this follow these steps:

Log into NetScope through the web user interface. If you are running a version of NetScope 2.0-105 or greater then follow the instructions here:

  1. Click the ‘Configuration’ from the top menu.
  2. Select ‘System’ from the left hand menu.
    1. Click ‘Next’.
  3. Select ‘Download Diagnostic’ from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click ‘Save’. Save the file to your computer.

Send this diagnostic file to support@netscope.com.au

 

If you are running NetScope 2.0.98 or below your screen will look slightly different, follow these instructions.

  1.  Click on ‘System’ from the top menu.
  2. Click on ‘System’ from the left-hand side menu.
    1. Click ‘Next’.
  3. Click on ‘Diagnostic’. A file will download, save it to your computer.
