NTP stands for ‘Network Time Protocol’ and is the method by which NetScope keeps its current time precise and updated. The default settings are for a widely accessible and reliable set of NTP servers. A group of 3 is used to ensure uptime and redundancy. NetScope gives you the option of choosing your own NTP servers if you run them internally or have specific NTP servers you would like to use. To change, use the text boxes to enter the addresses of the NTP servers and click ‘Save’.
